Brand-New Sunday Event Brings Classic Cars, Muscle Cars, Hot Rods and Customs to Water Street
The Wharf Rat Rally has always been about celebrating the passion for life on wheels. For more than two decades, motorcycles have filled the streets of Digby each Labour Day weekend, bringing together thousands of riders from across Atlantic Canada and beyond.
Now, we’re adding a new tradition.
The Rat Rods Car Show, presented by Digby Marine Supply, makes its debut on Sunday, September 6, bringing an exciting showcase of classic cars, muscle cars, hot rods, rat rods, customs, imports, trucks, and unique automotive builds to the heart of the Rally.
Whether you ride on two wheels or drive on four, if you’ve got something you’re proud of, we want to see it.
A New Sunday Tradition
The Rat Rods Car Show is designed to give Rally-goers one more reason to spend the day in downtown Digby while showcasing some incredible vehicles from throughout the region.
The show will be located on Water Street, stretching from the intersection of Montague Row to the pedestrian crosswalk in front of the Fundy Complex on the west side of the median. Depending on registration numbers, portions of Church Street may also be used for display vehicles.
It’s the perfect setting to wander through rows of amazing vehicles, chat with owners, snap photos, and experience another side of automotive culture during Rally weekend.
Registration Information
Vehicle registration begins at 10:00 a.m. on Sunday morning.
To help with traffic flow and setup, all participating vehicles must enter through Gate 1, located at the corner of Montague Row and Mount Street. Event volunteers will direct participants to their display locations upon arrival.

Awards and Special Guest Judges
It wouldn’t be a car show without a little friendly competition.
Participants will have the chance to take home trophies and prizes in a variety of categories, with more details to be announced soon.
We’re also excited to welcome special guest judges who will help select this year’s winners. Their identities will remain under wraps for now—but trust us, you’ll want to meet them.
