
Our Board of Directors
The Board of Directors of the Wharf Rat Rally Motorcycle Association is a very active, hands-on board whose members bring a wide range of experience and expertise to the association. Board members are involved in at least one committee, ensuring continuity in communications and direction between the board and the various elements of the Rally.

2022 Board Members
Rickey owns a successful sign and printing business in Conway and uses his skills to design, coordinate and produce all the Wharf Rat Rally Motorcycle Association’s marketing products, collateral materials and signage. In addition, Rickey heads up the Site team before, during and after the Rally and acts as a representative of the Wharf Rat Rally at motorcycle shows across the country. Rick’s years of experience on the Wharf Rat Rally board give the background needed to move forward in an informed manner.
An avid rider and a successful businessman, Ed brings his industry connections and experience to the Board. With experience in non-profit and charity organizations in a variety of officer roles, Ed’s input in meetings is well respected.
As a well-known Digby resident and business man, Kevin brings experience that will help the association continue to grow its outreach programs and community engagement.
As a well-known Clare resident and business man, Guy brings experience and knowledge to grow and develop the Rally. A keen biker Guy has travelled all over North America and attended many Rallies.
An active businessman and community supporter, Murray sits on both the Wharf Rat Rally board and the board of Scallop Days. Not afraid to pick up the phone and use his connections, Murray is a get-it-done board member who helps with recruiting and scheduling volunteers and on-site logistics during the Rally.
Delma has experience in both business and human resource management, and a solid sense of logic and protocol. As an inaugural team leader, Delma’s suggestions and efforts helped refine roles and procedures and her input has helped set the strategic direction for the volunteer program.
As a newest director of the Rally, Jacki brings an absolute wealth of practical experience to the board.
Best known for his role with the Digby Search and Rescue, Larry’s experience of the on-the-ground workings during the event days offers insight into the “big picture” of the interconnections between different elements of the festival and how they impact and relate to each other. Larry’s insight will help align the puzzle pieces of traffic, entertainment programming and volunteers for the smooth operation of events.
Margaret brings some excellent business skills to the board. She has been a volunteer member for a number of years and the board will benefit from her artistic and organizational talents.
