A supporter since the early days of the Wharf Rat Rally, Northumberland Ferries Limited is back again as a valued sponsor.

Coming from western New Brunswic, or anywhere else in Canada west of New Brunswick? Save your back and some miles, and catch the ferry from Saint John, New Brunswick right into Digby. Check out the new schedule, and be sure to book early so you're not disappointed.

During the Wharf Rat Rally weekend, Bay Ferries goes above and beyond to help the party along, from food specials to live entertainment right on board. Sit back and relax, watch for whales, or this year, purchase your Wharf Rat Rally official apparel on the ship. Be sure to register for the Rally on board also, so you can get into town easily and quickly once you leave the ferry.

If you're making a total vacation of your trip, consider riding the Confederation Bridge into Prince Edward Island, catching the ferry from Wood Islands, PEI to Caribou, NS and then turning east to ride the Cabot Trail. Eastern Canada is a biker's dream. For a variation of highway riding, try taking the Eastern Shore into Halifax and then continuing along the South Shore before you cut across Highway 8 to head toward Digby for the Wharf Rat Rally. Catching the ferry from Digby into Saint John will round out a great week of riding wonderful roads in the Maritimes. The Digby Harbour Port Association is a great supporter of the Wharf Rat Rally, from coordinating ice trucks that pick up fish and seafood over the weekend, to making sure the area for the Hub City Stunters is safe and well-managed. The staff spend countless hours helping get equipment for our water shows in and out of the water, and communicating with boat captains when it is safe to enter the area.

The wharf area and the scallop fleet are the centrepieces of the ambiance that defines the Wharf Rat Rally and we're lucky to have the support and participation of a great local partner.
