In and Near Digby

Some of the suites have full kitchens, most have a sofa bed and a gorgeous view and all have the Wharf Rat Rally just downstairs. The Fundy Complex also includes the Fundy Restaurant, the Dockside Restaurant and Bar and Club 98.

 

The Annapolis Basin Conference Centre ** 2017 PACKAGES AVAILABLE!

Situated in Cornwallis Park, the ABCC is a pleasant jaunt on the highway, about 10 minutes away. Enjoy a full breakfast buffet each morning, a dedicated shuttle service that will take you safely into Digby and back, and live musical entertainment in the Bar Lounge. A bike wash station is available too! The Annapolis Basin Conference Centre offers a wide range of accommodations from private hotel guestrooms right down to barracks beds, a step up from dry camping!

The Municipality of Digby

While the larger properties carry waiting lists, many smaller properties and Bed and Breakfast operators have vacancies leading up to the Wharf Rat Rally. Some of these properties can be found on the Digby Area Tourism Association's website.

RV Parking and Camping

For the ultimate ruff camping experience, call 902-245-5437 to reserve your space. Right in the camping area: stage for live music, beer tent, and the weekend "mud run". Across the street from Sunset Pub where you can watch the truck pulls and have a great meal. Hot outdoor showers and portable toilets onsite. All less than 5km from downtown with a shuttle stop right outside the campground. Stage and event schedule to follow.

Lakeside camping at Digby East Fish & Game Association (DEFAGA) 1492 Hillgrove. Water/power service available but limited, public showers/washrooms. Excellent swimming. Camper/trailer: $40/night Tenting: $30/night.To reserve your site, Call Barb at 902-307-179.

Digby is located in the Fundy Shore & Annapolis Valley region of Nova Scotia. The Yarmouth and Acadian Shores region is within an hour's ride.

Just a short ride west along Highway 101 to Exit 28, the Municipality of Clare offers a culture deep in history and rich in hospitality. Enjoy the food, the people and the scenery just 40 minutes from Digby.

By choosing Yarmouth and Acadian Shores, you'll see results from the area to the west of Digby. Yarmouth is about an hour's ride along the highway and if you take the scenic route along the French shore, it'll take you an extra 15 or 20 minutes.

If you choose Bay of Fundy & Annapolis Valley, you'll see results from the Digby area and eastward to Windsor. The ride from Windsor to Digby is about 1 hour, 45 minutes along Highway 101 and hotels, motels, B&Bs and inns tend to book up totally during Wharf Rat Rally as far west as New Minas, about an hour and a half ride each way. Watch to see if the Old Orchard Inn is a registration stop again in 2016 and miss the lineups in Digby.
