Basically it goes as follows:Pre-registration is best. This will allow you to arrive at the Registration tent (Warwick & Victoria Streets) and go through an Express Lane to get your sticker and pin before heading downtown. If you do not pre-register online, you would go to the same tent but it'll take a bit longer to sign you in and send you on your way.

The registration fee covers the full rally from start to finish and everything in between. It allows us to offer live music, stunt shows and contests free of charge.

At the Registration tent you are given a sticker which gets you and your bike past the barricades on a come and go basis.

The Wharf Rat Rally board is made up of “Volunteers” that work year round to ensure the continuation of the Wharf Rat Rally, started over 8 years ago. In order to provide free access for visitors to the builders, stunt shows, boat races, fireworks, vendors and much more, the organization needs to generate a minimum of $250,000 to $300,000. The Rally has only a few ways to generate revenue to cover these expenses and they are: Motorcycle ticket sales, corporate, government and community sponsorships and advertisements, Vendor registrations, voluntary registrations/donations, merchandise sales and a 50/50 draw. Our Motorcycle ticket sales have always been the best generator of funds. People know that by purchasing a ticket on the Rally Motorcycle they are supporting the continuation of the Rally and allowing us to support the JDRF (Juvenile Diabetes Research Foundation). There are many well intended groups that support excellent causes, but for every dollar that is given to another cause it takes away from the amount of funding the Rally has to pay expenses and the amount we can give to the JDRF. The Board made a conscious decision, and advised those groups, that we were not going to allow the selling of tickets, by other groups, for the 2011 Rally and in the future. There were still 2 organizations that sold tickets. This took a significant amount of funding from the Rally did not allow us to provide our full commitment to the Juvenile Diabetes Research Foundation. We have taken a large amount of verbal abuse, actual physical intimidation and just plain “bullying” as a result of wanting to ensure the continuation of a great Rally and our desire to continue to support JDRF (Juvenile Diabetes), by not allowing the sale of tickets that take away from the Rally’s objectives. On behalf of the
