Back for 2 days again in 2019, be sure to add this into your personal itinerary. Complete it all at once, spread it over two days or link it up with the CAV Darren Williams Commemorative Ride to the Afghanistan Memorial. Any way you do it, you'll have a great ride and meet lots of nice people!

Chop Shop Industries Freestyle Burnout Contest
Switching to a freestyle burnout this year, the contest will once again be held on the wharf at 6pm on Sunday. As a people's choice contest, be sure to encourage all your friends to come out and cheer you on!

Show ‘n’ Shine
A perennial favourite, the Show ‘n’ Shine is back this year with registration on Saturday afternoon starting at 1:30 at the Heritage Hall right downtown.
This year's categories are:
- Best Overall Shine - Wally Westbridge
- Best Cruiser - Robert & Geraldine Gallant
- Best Chopper - Donny Young
- Best Paint - Bruce Spicer
- Best Non-Conventional - Wally Westbridge
- Farthest Away - Keeley Ward
A People's Choice award will also be presented with the winner's name added to the trophy at Headquarters. 2019 People's Choice winner - Bruce Spicer
Rat Bike Contest
Once again, we'd like to thank NSCC Akerley campus for providing the Rat Bike Contest trophies. It's always wonderful to receive the community support!
This People's Choice contest starts on Sunday at 4:30 at the Heritage Hall and wraps up at 5:30, so come on down to enter, or to vote!
The MacGyver Award recognizes an element or item of the motorcycle that recycles or reuses an item in a manner that MacGyver would have.
The Pure Genius Award identifies an idea that is unique or inspirational.
The Now... That's a Rat Award is the choice for the all-around concept of a true rat bike.
The overall award has his or her name added to the Headquarters trophy.
Arm Wrestling Competition ** Sunday this year!
The Nova Scotia Armwrestling Association will be hosting an amateur competition during the Wharf Rat Rally on Sunday, September 1st (Digby Centre Stage). This is open to all amateur and novice armwrestlers. There will be both men's and ladies' classes. The men's right-hand classes are 154, 176, 198 and over 198lbs. The left-hand classes are 176 and over 176lbs. The ladies will be open in both the right and left-hand classes.
There will also be several challenge matches that will pit the best armwrestlers in Nova Scotia against the best from the other Maritime provinces. You will see several Canadian Champions fighting it out against one another in the Battle of the Atlantic, now an annual event.

This year, join the Annapolis Valley Precision Drill Team on the grassy area next to Heritage Hall on Saturday at 2pm for your chance to claim bragging rights and a grab-bag of goodies!
This all-fun contest is great to participate in, and great to watch! How slow can you go??
Once again, try your skill at the Arena on Shreve Street on Sunday after the Drill Team's 11am show. Full protective gear must be worn. Not a contest, but participants can enter a ballot to win a grab-bag of goodies.
